-MAKE MEMORIES WITH US-
Arrive as clients and leave as friends. Our cliental is growing quickly and we take great pride in providing professional hunting experiences creating lifetime friends and repeat hunters.
We operate as a family operation run by Oliver with the help of partner Holly and brother Grahame. Our guides and camp chef are all part of the Te Awaiti Hunting Adventures family and we operate as a team to ensure the best results and experiences for our hunters.
We love our land, ocean, animals and experiences they provide. Nestled into the native bush looking out to the Pacific Ocean you will feel at home at our lodge and will experience a proper New Zealand hunting adventure.
-MEET THE TEAM-
Oliver begun hunting at a young age, tagging along with his father when ever he could. He begun guiding hunts for a well known established outfit at the age of 21 where he completed 3 seasons and became a registered professional guide. In the off season of 2017 Oliver travelled to British Columbia, Canada and guided hunts for all major species over there. Now at 25 Oliver has a wealth of experience for his age and is owner, outfitter and guide at Te Awaiti Hunting Adventures and is looking forward to many more years in the business.
Holly is the techy behind all of our online media and accounts. She is also studying full time which keeps her very busy. When the city life is getting too much she can also be found out here at Te Awaiti hosting and helping out around camp.
Jaycob is our full-time guide here a Te Awaiti during our trophy hunt season, and when the season ends, he goes back to Canada to continue guiding. His favourite time of the year is the roar, and enjoys sharing this with others. He has guided in Canada, having many successful hunts with his clients including stone sheep and black bears.
Ruth is our camp chef during our busy roar season. She contracts to a variety of kitchens from private hospitals in the city to tourist lodges. She owns a farm with her husband Julian and maintains a thriving permaculture garden and food forest, where the goal is to be self sufficient while leaving a minimal footprint. Her passions are her animals, family, and creating healthy wholesome food.
Grahame also began hunting at a young age and has a real passion for the everything outdoors. He full time manages a deer breeding farm in the Horowhenua region and when not farming deer can be found hunting deer. Grahame helps out with guiding hunts here at Te Awaiti during busy periods.
